We offer a wide range of subjects and courses at different levels. It is important that you are studying the right course at the right level to be successful.
All our courses can be researched through the Courses Available page of the website, or by attending one of our Open Evenings. At your initial consultation we will discuss your options with you and together help you choose the right course path for you.
Upon receiving your GCSE grades, we will hold another consultation with you where we will discuss your results and course options and a final decision on your course will be made.

Can I study at Advanced level if I don't get a grade C in English or Mathematics or Science?
The entry requirements onto an Advanced Level course of study includes at least a grade C in English, Maths or Science. Students who have not gained at lease a grade C in one of these subjects, will be offered a course of study at Level 2 for one year, to increase your grade in these subjects.
You will be able to study at Advanced level if you have gained a grade C in one of these subjects, but it will be expected that you retake either Maths or English GCSE in your first year of study to improve your grade.
Some of the Advanced level courses do require you to have a grade C at English GCSE.
What are my options if I study on Level 2 course?
Level 2 courses are a one year course, which can include retakes of previous GCSEs and new BTEC First Certificate subjects. After successful completion of a Level 2 course Students may go on to study at Advanced level.
At my previous school I have studied alternatives to GCSEs – will these qualify towards the entry requirements?
We will take into account all types of courses that you may have studied. You can discuss this with our staff at Open Evening or at your consultation once you have applied.
