What will be the costs of studying in Scarborough?
European Union Students
UK and other EU students between the ages of 16 and 19 are educated free of charge. If you think that you are entitled to free education in the UK you must let us know at the time you apply.
Non-European Students
Tuition fees for non-EU students starting a Full-time course in September 2010 are £4,950. Most courses last 2 years. The fees will remain fixed at this level for the second year of a student’s course. There will be no increase. Payment must be made by 14th August 2010.
What do the fees cover?
The fees include:

Access to any GCSE, BTEC or A level course which is appropriate for the student

Tuition in classes alongside local UK students

Extra help with English language if needed

Access to X Factor, our Enrichment programme, including a wide range of activities such as music, sport and debating.

Guidance and support from a Guidance Support Tutor

Access to the internet in the college library

Advice on university applications and careers guidance

Writing paper and the loan of text books required for the course

Entry fees for public examinations related to the courses chosen, but not for any examination re-sits.
The fees do not include:

The costs of study visits, fieldwork and some material for practical coursework.

Student union fees

Optional educational visits, such as theatre trips
(An additional £200 a year to cover any such costs throughout the year.)
