Lifelong Learning
Our aim in relation to lifelong learning is “to open the College to the local community, through the provision of courses with a ‘lifelong learning’ focus”.
The centre runs courses on 3 evenings per week (currently Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday).
Course fees are set at as low a level as possible and concessions (subject to status) are available on funded programmes.
All learners can use college facilities such as computers, the library and the careers service at designated times and will be offered information, advice and guidance and access to learning support if required. We are sure that you will find the quality of courses attractive and should you choose to enrol, we look forward to welcoming you and to supporting you in your studies.
All courses run in the College’s normal accommodation at Sandybed Lane, making use of the same classrooms and facilities as our day-time students.
Please note that not all courses are offered every term. Contact the Lifelong Learning Centre for the latest information and for course detail sheets.
The college is within easy reach of the town centre and there is free on-site parking.
N.B. A course will not run if minimum numbers are not met.
